Set between Lake Padarn and Lake Peris with the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) rising behind, The Royal Victoria Hotel is a complete wedding venue within 30 acres of mature Victorian gardens. Our own historic Dolbadarn Castle sits on the grounds, the hotel is licensed for civil ceremonies, and we host only one wedding per day.
With over 100 en suite bedrooms, guests are welcome to stay overnight following the wedding, and a limited number of rooms at concessionary rates can be offered for anyone booking the night of the wedding. We're tucked into the village of Llanberis at the foot of Yr Wyddfa, around fifteen minutes from Caernarfon and Bangor and just off junction 11 of the A55 - so guests travelling from across North Wales and beyond can reach us easily.

We couldn’t picture getting married anywhere else. The location and views are perfect, and from our first viewing through to the wedding day itself, Ana was always incredibly helpful and quick to respond.Nothing was too much trouble, our guests loved their stay and the reception buffet, and the scenery around Yr Wyddfa and Dolbadarn Castle made the whole day feel unforgettable.The value for money was unbelievable and we truly couldn’t recommend The Royal Victoria Hotel enough.
