The Royal Victoria Hotel’s historic Coach House has been beautifully refurbished and is now welcoming guests once more. This charming annex brings a fresh chapter to a much-loved part of the hotel’s history - combining timeless character with contemporary comfort.

Timeless elegance

Adjacent to the hotel’s main building, the newly refurbished Coach House comprises 12 elegantly appointed bedrooms, accommodating up to two people in a twin or double room, each with a brand-new en-suite bath or shower room.

With its own entrance, the Coach House is ideal for guests returning from outdoor adventures - no need to worry about muddy boots in the main lobby!

And while it offers a peaceful setting of its own, Coach House guests are welcome to enjoy all the amenities of the main hotel, including the inviting Eryri Bar and our two restaurants, just a short stroll away.

Late arrival or travelling with outdoor gear? The dedicated Coach House car park means easy access and a fuss-free check-in - so you can start your stay relaxed and ready for what’s to come.

A peaceful setting with a storied past

Once part of the hotel’s bustling stable yard, this two-storey brick-built retreat now offers guests a tranquil place to unwind. Surrounded by trees and tucked away from the bustle of the main hotel, it’s a peaceful spot that many guests come to cherish - especially after a rewarding day exploring the Eryri mountains.

Explore Eryri from your doorstep

The Royal Victoria Hotel is the perfect base for short breaks in North Wales. You’re just moments from the start of the Llanberis Path, one of the most accessible routes to the summit of Yr Wyddfa. If you’re seeking other options, the Pyg or Miners’ tracks are just a short bus ride away.

Prefer something gentler? Why not follow in the footsteps of the Victorians and take the mountain railway to the summit? Back in Llanberis, you’ll find independent shops, scenic lake walks, and family attractions like Electric Mountain and the National Slate Museum - all within easy reach.

A special place to stay

Sympathetically restored and thoughtfully decorated, the Coach House is now one of the hotel’s most special offerings. It’s a unique place to stay for those looking for charm, comfort and a peaceful base from which to explore everything this stunning corner of Wales has to offer.
